State-of-the-Art Plastics Compounding Equipment
RESIN (Products & Technology) B.V. recently upgraded its infrastructure and now operates two twin-screw compounding units with capacities of 2.500 and 4.000 kg/hour, bringing its annual compounding capacity at 25.000 tonnes. Both compounding units are equipped with flexible and accurate dosing and blending equipment, which are operated by staff with over 20 years of compounding experience. RESIN also operates a silo park with 2.600 m3 of storage facilities and is able to deliver its compounds in various packaging formats (i.e., silo truck, big bag, octabin). Small sample batches can be prepared, and experienced quality assurance employees perform all process monitoring and quality sampling & testing in house. For complex testing and development requirements, RESIN works closely together a specialised spin-off company of the Polymer department of the Technical University of Twente.
Our laboratory is well equipped to do all required small-scale property evaluation of developmental grades as well as quality-control testing of production compounds.
High-quality engineering plastics with glass and/or mineral reinforcement, additive masterbatch and concentrates are being produced as for example automotive compounds. However, the extruders are also at your disposal through our toll compounding service.
RESIN operates its own grinding installation for recycling purposes.
